With over 25 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors, she has consistently leveraged her expertise to drive sustainable development and social impact.​In her strategic advisory role as Head of Growth and Expansion for Africa, Otema focused on transforming waste into energy through biogas solutions. This initiative directly addressed environmental sustainability by promoting renewable energy and waste reduction. His scholarly contributions include keynote speeches at significant conferences such as the World Trade Organization's (WTO) 13th Ministerial Conference (MC13) 2024 in Abu Dhabi, the 6th PASET Forum & Self Annual Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, 2024, and the Ghana Tech.
